Too Many Flags at Half-Staff; Only President Can Ordered Them Lowered.
The United States Flag Code (a law) says that only the President and sometimes a governor can order a flag to half staff, but all over, mayors, county officials, fire chiefs, police chiefs, sanitation chiefs, are ordering the flag be flown “like a broken kite, half way up the staff.”
It’s wrong - the flag should fly proudly everyday at full staff - this video carefully and hopefully gently explains why it is wrong to fly it half-staff for “ordinary” citizens.
